ADHD assessments for adults

Assessments can change lives

In recent years, awareness of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) has grown significantly. Many people are now realising that their long-standing difficulties with focus, time management, or impulsivity may actually be symptoms of ADHD—a discovery often sparked by the rise of social media platforms like TikTok. This newfound awareness can be truly life-changing.

If you’ve learned about ADHD and see reflections of your own experiences, it might be time to consider an assessment. An accurate diagnosis can provide the clarity you need and open the door to strategies and treatments that could greatly enhance your quality of life.

Seeking an assessment isn’t about finding a label—it’s about taking control of your future. Whether you’ve suspected ADHD for some time or are only now beginning to explore the possibility, an assessment could be the first step toward meaningful personal change. If ADHD is impacting your life, there’s no better time to seek clarity, take action, and start living the life you’ve always envisioned.

At ADHD North East, our assessments are comprehensive and include critical steps that many other providers either omit or charge extra for. We ensure that you receive the highest standard of care, without hidden costs, giving you the insights and confidence to move forward with the right support.

Our assessments are completely unbiased, meaning we are not motivated to lock you into costly follow-up care or ongoing treatment. Many other providers may recommend long-term medication plans or extended follow-up services, which can significantly increase the overall cost of managing ADHD. At ADHD North East, we focus on providing clear, professional, and objective assessments, leaving any decisions about next steps up to you.

Additionally, some providers charge separately for tests like the QbTest, which can cost up to £395 on top of the base fee . At ADHD North East, all components of the assessment, including the QbTest, are included in the price—so there are no hidden costs or surprise fees.
